About Us

Anders and LizThanks for checking us out. Our names are Anders and Liz Treiberg. We live in Victoria, BC during the winter months and at our cottage on Cortes Island during spring, summer and fall.

Any time during the year, you could find us in our 5th wheel trailer camping some place. Let us give you a bit of background and information and how we operate and run our website.

Liz Treiberg

Liz in Farwell Canyon, BC.Liz was born and raised in Switzerland and came to Canada in 1967. Fluent in French, German and English. Liz retired in 2008, and in her "former life" she was a professional photographer and then a real estate consultant.

Being born in Europe, Liz has not only travelled in Europe. She visited many corners of the world, including Africa, Asia, Scandinavia and of course North America.

Liz started camping when she arrived in Canada and enjoys hiking, kayaking, wild life watching, travel writing, photography, spending time with our children and grand children, and the list goes on. Email Liz


Anders Treiberg

Anders boating on horse lakeAnders came to Canada in 1976 from his native country of Sweden. He started camping at an early age back in Sweden and continued to do so here in Canada.

Anders came to Canada to be a cowboy, later he had his own ranch, worked on the oil rigs for ten years and then worked as a real estate consultant. He also retired in 2008.

Besides camping, Anders enjoys kayaking, hiking and cooking. He loves to go out on the ocean fishing, crabbing or prawning. He also has a great passion for computers and web design. Email Anders
